Finding the Coastal Cave Entrance
To locate this hidden dungeon, you must travel to the western coastline of the Limgrave region, southwest of the Church of Elleh. Finding a safe path down to the sandy beach requires using a collapsed stone structure propped against the cliffs. Once on the shore, head south along the cliffside until you spot a dark opening guarded by hostile creatures.
Before stepping into the shadows, checking the nearby area during the night can reveal a group of roaming Demi-humans. Additionally, a helpful Nomadic Merchant camps just south of the cave entrance beneath a large stone archway. This vendor sells essential survival items, making it a great pitstop before you begin your underground trek.
Navigating the Dark Tunnels
The interior of this cavern is near pitch-black, making a reliable light source an absolute necessity for safe navigation. Players should purchase a torch from Merchant Kale at the Church of Elleh before attempting to explore these depths. Upon entering, immediately activate the Site of Grace to establish a safe checkpoint and notice the NPC Boc the Seamster resting nearby.
As you descend further into the tunnels, you will face groups of aggressive Demi-humans hiding in the bushes and rocky corners. It is wise to move cautiously and bait these small enemies out one by one to avoid getting overwhelmed in the dark. Along the rocky paths, searching the scattered corpses will yield useful crafting materials like a Land Octopus Ovary and Root Resin.
Conquering the Demi Human Chiefs
The final chamber houses an unorthodox boss encounter featuring two powerful Demi-Human Chiefs and their agile minions. Unlike traditional dungeons, there is no fog gate blocking the entrance, meaning the slumbering bosses can be approached stealthily. Utilizing the tall shrubs on the right allows players to pick off patrolling scouts before alerting the main leaders.
Each chief attacks with relentless dual-blade combos and devastating jumping strikes that can quickly break your guard. If the battle proves too difficult, look for the gold summon sign outside the lair to call upon Old Knight Istvan for assistance. Keeping the two bosses separated by utilizing the central stone pillars is the key strategy to achieving victory.
Claiming Your Loot and Finding Passage
Defeating the dual chieftains rewards players with valuable tools, specifically the Sewing Needle and Tailoring Tools needed to progress Boc's side quest. These items allow you to alter garments and customize your armor sets at any grace site without spending runes.
